Verifying Ventilator Operation with Gas Flow Analyzer

All ventilators should be tested after each use to verify performance before the unit is used for another patient. Ideally, a complete operational verification procedure, established by the facility and usually based on the manufacturer’s recommendations, will be performed each time. It will be more effective for service providers to use the ISO 80601-2-12 standard on the measurement side.
